Sunday Service

What to expect at our Sunday Church Gathering

Sundays are an opportunity for us to gather as what the Bible calls the Church. In our gatherings, we focus on the Lord (Father, Son, and Spirit), engage His Word (the Bible), and enjoy the fellowship of brothers, sisters, and friends (the Body of Christ).

主日学 is held from 9:30 to 10:45am. We currently have one class GROWING, which focuses on helping all believers grow deeper in our faith and in our impact with others. You can find us in room A122.

Gathering Before Service from 10:45 to 11:15 am for fellowship in the lobby and sanctuary. Prior to our service, we like to visit, welcome everyone warmly, and prepare our hearts to worship the Lord.

Worship, Scripture Reading & Pastoral Prayer We worship through singing with a mixture of mostly contemporary songs and some hymns about the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ. We recognize the authority and sufficiency of the Scriptures. Each week the pastor selects a Scripture Reading that compliments the sermon and we read that together as the church body. Pastoral Prayer with the congregation is a time at the beginning and end of service to lift up praises, prayer requests, and needs for church, our city, and the world.

Spiritual Disciplines Each week we take time to engage in a spiritual discipline as a profession of our faith. Disciplines include Holy Communion, reciting the Apostles Creed, reciting the Model Prayer, and a reading from Psalm 119. Months with a fifth Sunday, we forgo a discipline and have an extended time of Prayer and Worship.

在线证道 Our pastor is committed to expository preaching of the Old & New Testaments by primarily going through books of the Bible verse by verse. The aim of the message is to explain, hear, understand God’s word with a gospel-centric goal to live out the truth God provides (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Our pastor and congregation seek to apply God’s eternal and life changing truth to our relationship with Christ, with our church, and to our cities.

Gathering After Service After service, parents with little kids should immediately return to their children’s classrooms to pick them up. Workers only release children to those who are assigned as approved to Pick Up/Drop off contacts. Some brothers and sisters linger in fellowship at the church, while others take the opportunity to go out for a meal.

We desire to be the church that gathers to encourage one another in the ways and things of God, then scatters into the cities and communities He has called us to living as salt and light.
