[RCCC]/English Congregation Core Values |
1.
The goal
of our ministry is to transform the [Chinese and] Asian-American
community into fully devoted followers of Christ. Our church must have
an evangelistic impact on our community [Acts 1:8; Acts 6:7; Matthew
28:18-20]
2.
People
matter to God and to each of the language congregations of Raleigh
Chinese Christian Church [Luke 15]
3.
The word
of God is sharper than any two-edged sword and its message can transform
people’s lives into a new creation [Hebrews
4:12; 2 Corinthians
5:17]
4.
Ministry
and evangelism must be carried out with relevance [1 Corinthians 9:22b]
5.
Everything
we do for Christ must be done with excellence [Colossians
3:23-24]
6.
People
must be treated gently and respectfully, and connected to a caring
community [1 Peter
3:15; Acts 4:34-35]
7.
Every
Christian has a God-given ministry [Ephesians
4:12]
8.
To fulfill
our mission we need to step out in visionary faith and take risks for
God [Hebrews 11:6]
