No Youth Group on This Friday
There will be no Youth Group on this Friday, August 29, because of the Labor Day holiday weekend. Join us again for Youth Group on Friday, September 5, from 7:30-9:30 p.m. for our next Youth Prayer Night. Our Prayer Topic will be “Praying for the New School Year.”
Wednesday Youth Prayer
Join us for Prayer on this Wednesday, Aug 27, from 7:00-7:40 p.m. through Zoom.

There will be no Youth Sunday School on this Sunday, August 31, because of the Labor Day holiday weekend. Join us again for Youth Sunday School on Sunday, September 7. Our new Youth Sunday School Classes will start on that Sunday.
Dragon Boat Festival (Asia Fest) Outreach – Saturday, September 20
Our church will be having a booth at the Asia Fest at Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary on Saturday, September 20. Prayerfully consider volunteering to help share Jesus’ love and Good News with the families, children, and individuals attending this event. We will have three volunteer shifts (Morning – 8-11 a.m.; Mid-Day – 11 a.m.-2 p.m.; Afternoon – 2-4:30 p.m.) More details and sign-up will be coming soon. Community service hours available.
Christmas Cantata Orchestra and Choir
Our church will have our annual Christmas Cantata on Sunday, December 7. If you would like to be part of the Orchestra or Choir, please contact Aunt Christine. You will need to attend Sunday afternoon practices and the dress rehearsal on December 6.
Coding Class
Uncle Alan Sawyer is offering an introductory software engineering class. This class is for rising 9th-12th Grade students. Multiple and flexible classes will be offered Monday through Thursday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. 4 students maximum for each class for 1-2 hours based on needs and interests. Classes will start on September 8. Contact Uncle Alan if interested.

Sunday Alive – Our Youth Sunday School Worship, Bible Study, and Prayer Experience
Join us from 9:30-10:45 a.m. each Sunday for worship, prayer, and our in-person classes.

Here is what Jesus wants you to do:
–Become a true follower of Jesus. Ask Jesus to forgive you of your sin (living life your way instead of His Way) and allow Him to be Savior and Lord of your life.
–Be Baptized, showing that you are now a fully devoted follower of Jesus.
–Belong to our community of faith (our church), begin to grow in your faith, share life together, use your spiritual gifts and God-given talents and skills to serve in our youth group and church.
