Water Challenge- 30 Hour Famine 2015

30 Hour Famine is an event where, as a youth group, we fast (don’t eat) for 30 hours. We use this time of hunger to avert our focus from physical hunger to spiritual hunger. This year, we are raising money for Samaritan’s Purse to build wells in different countries. In order to raise this money, we plan to take on the Water Challenge. For this challenge, you are encouraged to give up all beverages except for tap water. If we can get at least 85 students and adults to participate, we can easily reach our goal of $2000, which is enough money to fund the construction of two wells.

A lock-in (sleepover) is included in this event, you do not HAVE to stay over night but you may. You will need a liability release form if you haven’t already filled one out to participate in the lock-in (please print it out and turn it in to Pastor Jerry, form can be found under the “Forms and Documents” page).

When: April 24th 7:30pm- April 25th 7:30pm (Potluck dinner at 6:00PM)

Signing up for the Water Challenge does not mean you are also signed up for 30 Hour Famine. There are two separate sign ups.

If you would like like to raise money and participate in the Water Challenge please sign up here.

If you would like to participate in the lock-in as well as service projects during the two day time period please sign up here.
