Updates

  • 08/10/05, 8/11/05

    • Caraway provides parking areas for vehicles throughout the campground.  Park your car near the youth camp if you are staying in the cabins or lodges.  If the conference center parking area becomes full, there will be parking spaces  near the ropes course area (see camp site map (PDF). Carpooling  is encouraged.

    • Those staying in the hotel rooms or Cowsert Lodge will have their towels changed Saturday morning between 8-12. If you want clean towels, you will need to allow housekeeping to come in. Place the dirty towels on the bathroom floor or place them in hallway collection bins if so informed. Housekeeping knows the number of occupants in the room from our registration and will ensure that you will have the towels needed.

  • 08/08/05

    • We will be using two dining halls for our meals.  This will will enable shorter lines.  Meals for those staying in the cabins or lodges or are commuting will have their meals served at the camp dining hall.  The others will have meals in the conference center dining hall.  You will be reminded of your meal location when you check-in.

    • Meeting rooms have been assigned for the different programs.  You can view them online to acquaint yourself with the conference center before arriving.

  • 08/07/05

    • We are thankful for possibly a "full house" at the English conference.  The children's program will be taking a walk through the Old Testament from Genesis through the Divided Kingdom.  Please remember that the youths not in the 7th grade during school year 2004-05 are to attend the children's program.

    • Information for childcare and the children's program is available on this site (here).

  • 08/06/05

  • Continue to pray for God's leading in all aspects of the retreat so that we may fully experience and enjoy His love together.

  • Pray that God will place brother and sisters willing to serve in the childcare and children's ministry during the retreat.

  • Pray for Dr. Chok who will be holding worship service at the church for those not attending the retreat. Church worship will start at 11:00 pm, Sunday, 8/14/05.  There will be no Sunday school and lunch will not be served.
