RCCC Bulletin Announcement 06/29/08

1. We welcome friends worshiping with us today for the first time. Please join us for lunch after the service.

2.  Praise God that with the involvement, support and prayers of many brothers and sisters, this year’s VBS ended smoothly last Friday. Thank you for all you help. Please continue to pray for the children who have made the decisions to accept Christ as well as their families. 

3. Please note that sister Linda Zhang’s 2nd interview for the Children Ministry Director position originally scheduled for this weekend is cancelled because she has accepted a position offered by another church.  Please continue to pray that God will bring His servant into the midst of us.

4. Thank you for your participation in the RCCC disaster funds for China and Myanmar.  The final deadline for contributing to these funds will be July 6th, after which funds will no longer be accepted.

5. Building Expansion.  The three committees on church building expansion are established. The committees are:  (1) Church Building Expansion Committee [Paul Chan, King Choy, Don Hong (chair), Iwan Kartawira and YP Lee], (2) Capital Campaign FundGIVING Committee [Emory Chao, Al Chen (chair), Huang Chen, RueiYa Jou and Michael Poon], and (3) Building Expansion FundRAISING Committee [CJ Chiang, Mo-Yuen Chow, George Ho (chair), Gu Hong Qu and Feng Ye].  Please pray for the church expansion program and for the committee members that God would unleash his wonderful plan and lead us in building more space to do more work for him.

6. Membership Class.   If you are interested in becoming a member please see Elder Don.  A class is scheduled for today at 1:15pm in the MPR Cry Room.

7. The Missions Dept will be sponsoring a “NCSU Overseas Student Host Family” ministry from June to August.  This ministry will provide services such as picking up students from the airport, providing temporary lodging, collecting used furniture and cooking dishes for the student’s welcome party, etc.  We ask brothers and sisters to prayerfully consider hosting these students from China. There will be a meeting for people who are interested in becoming host families today in rooms 133-135.  We will start collecting used furniture in July.  For details, please contact sister Melody Shao.

8. The Chinese Audio-Visual ministry website is now available. You can go to the website to listen/view the Sunday sermon messages and topics from special seminars/workshops.  The latest files include the “Spiritual Formation” workshop presented by Pastor Peter Teh and gospel messages presented by Professor Kwok in the Gospel Camp.  Please go to www.raleighccc.org/Chinese Ministry/AV anytime to listen.

9. The 2008 RCCC family retreat registration deadline is TODAY.  Registration or payment received after today will be charged a $25 late registration fee except for newcomers. Please go to the RCCC website (www.raleighccc.org) for more information and register. 10. Lost and Found.  Many items are overflowing the two boxes in the Copier room.  Please claim your forgotten and lost items by today or else they will be discarded.

11. The Evergreen Fellowship will meet on July 10 at 10am instead of July 3rd.

12. The NA China Evangelical Seminary will host a workshop “Learning about Depression” on July 12 from 9am-3pm at our church.  The workshop will be in Chinese only.  For details, please see flyer on the table outside the MPR.

 3. 張巧楨姊妹原定於本週末到本教會作第二次兒童事工主任的面談,但因張姊妹已決定接受其他教會的聘請,故面談現已取消。請弟兄姊妹為兒童事工主任一職之空缺繼續禱告。

 4. 謝謝大家參與教會為緬甸風災和四川地震所設立的「賑災基金」！捐款的收集將於7/6日截止,7/6日以後將不再接受捐款。

 5. 教會擴建：三個教會擴建委員會已成立。(1) 教堂擴建委員會─  陳祈斌、蔡勁、湯傑偉長老(主席)、Iwan Kartawira、李奕斌  (2) 擴建經費捐獻委員會─趙學成、陳元崧(主席)、陳煌輝、舒瑞亞、Michael Poon  (3) 擴建籌款委員會─  姜君仁、周武元、何聖(主席)、顧洪、葉峰。請為擴建事工和擴建委員會的同工代禱，求神顯明祂的計劃, 帶領我們藉著擴建來更多的事奉祂。

6.  英文堂會員課：若您願意加入教會會員請與湯傑偉長老聯絡。今日1:15pm在大堂後面的房間上課。

 7.  宣道部將於本月至八月份展開 “有愛才有羊” 北卡州大學中國留學生的新生工作。事工將包含:接機，借宿，舊家具收集，迎新晚會餐點提供等。請弟兄姐妹以禱告的心，求神賜你愛心來接待遠來的浮雲遊子。今日在133-135教室有接待家庭的說明會，七月份開始收集舊家具。有任何問題請與宣道部同工邵玫玉姐妹連絡。

 10. 失物招領：在影印室有兩個紙箱內堆滿了許多遺失的物件,請於今日以前去認領失物。沒有人認領的物件將被丟棄。

11.  長青團契7/3日的聚會將 改期至7/10日(星期四)上午10:00am聚會,歡迎踴躍參加。

12.  北美中華福音神學院將舉辦一個基督徒輔導專題講座 「認識並助人克服憂鬱症」, 由陸汝斌教授主講。時間是7/12日9:00am-3:00pm在本教會上課。費用：$40(含午餐)。詳情請看大堂外單張。
